Your name on every mission
When our helicopters take to the skies, they carry more than just our critical care teams; they carry hope. Now, they can carry your name with them, too.
Whether it’s a gift for someone special, marking your support for life-saving care, or remembering a loved one, Written in the Sky connects you directly to the work that our team carries out across our region.
For a donation of ยฃ100, you can have your name, or a name of your choice, displayed on one of our new fleet of helicopters, becoming a part of every mission we fly.
Schools and non-profit organisations can also join the mission and feature their name for a donation of ยฃ200.

A story made possible by you
When 15-year-old Olly crashed his glider on a remote Cumbrian mountainside, his injuries were life-threatening.
Our critical care team reached him within minutes. At the scene, they delivered advanced treatment, including a blood transfusion, before placing him into a medically induced coma and airlifting him to a major trauma centre.
Doctors later said that without that rapid response, Olly may not have survived. Today, he continues his recovery. A life made possible by the support of people like you.
This is what it means to have your name Written in the Sky.

Frequently Asked Questions
Whose name can I have written on the helicopter?
You can dedicate a space to almost anyone – yourself, a friend, or in memory of a loved one. We accept individuals, schools, and community groups. However, we cannot accept business or corporate names for this specific campaign.
Can I add multiple names?
Yes! Each individual name submitted will cost ยฃ100 (but you are free to add more to this donation if you wish), and you can add up to 10 names during the donation process.
Will my names be next to each other?
We organise and arrange names based on the order they are received, and they are placed to best fit the decal on the bottom of the aircraft. While weโll try to keep names submitted on the same entry together where possible, we can’t guarantee this.
Can I dedicate the names of a couple or a family?
You can absolutely send the names of a couple or a family, but each full name would cost a minimum donation of ยฃ100.
Alternatively, you can send the collective surname of a family that would be considered as one donation. For example, you could not send “John & Mary Smith” as one name, but “The Smiths” would be acceptable.
How old to I have to be to submit a name?
Supporters must be over 16 to add a name, but someone aged 16+ can add a name on behalf of a child or young person.
How do groups and schools add names?
Groups and schools can add their name the same way individual can, just click ‘Group or school’ on the form above and this will allow for more characters to fill in the name.
What can I put in my name submissions?
We can accept:
– One person per name (e.g John Smith). If you would like to add more than one name, please do so by selecting ADD ANOTHER NAME.
– Maximum of 30 characters per name (including spaces and punctuation).
– First, second and middle names (e.g., John Paul Smith).
– Titles (e.g., Dr, Lady) and post-nominals (e.g., CBE, MD).
