We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Coffee House Assistant to help keep our brand new coffee shop, Hangar 63, running smoothly.

Hours
37.5 Hours over a 7 day rota (Mon-Sun).
(6-month fixed-term contract)
Salary
£25,000 per year.

Your Mission as an Assistant
As a Coffee House Assistant, you’ll be a key part of creating a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who visits Hangar 63.
From greeting customers with a smile and serving delicious drinks and treats, to helping our volunteers and keeping the coffee house spotless, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping everything running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Day to Day Duties
In this role, you’ll be preparing drinks to Hangar 63’s standards, taking orders, and using the till and payment system with accuracy and care.
You’ll serve food and drinks at the counter and tables, clear and clean up after customers, and help with restocking and displaying shop items. You’ll also support our volunteers, assist with cash handling and cashing up, and complete the necessary daily paperwork.
Maintaining health, hygiene, and safety standards is a key part of the role, and you’ll also help with training new team members to make sure Hangar 63 stays welcoming and well-organised for everyone.
