How Your Gift Makes A Difference

It costs millions to keep our service operational every year. We are reliant upon charitable donations and require the support of the public to keep us flying.

Many aspects of an air ambulance service need constant funding, from the fuel for our fleet to specialist uniforms for our crew members. A wide variety of medical equipment is required to deliver many different life-saving interventions, some of which are single-use and need constant maintenance.

Your gift allows us to innovate and adapt our service so we can meet the needs of the region we serve. In recent years, we have:

  • Invested in, and fitted specialist floats to our helicopters to ensure safe passage to and from the Isle of Man.
  • Extended our service into the night and equipped our rapid response vehicles with kit for nighttime driving.
