Role description
Are you passionate about vehicles and want to make a difference in your local community? We’re looking for a dedicated and practical Volunteer Fleet Support Person to help us keep our charity vehicles in top condition.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out weekly checks on our small fleet of charity vehicles
- Performing basic under-the-bonnet checks (oil, coolant, washer fluid, etc.)
- Completing simple maintenance tasks (e.g., topping up fluids, checking tyre pressures)
- Keeping the fleet clean and tidy.
- Keeping basic records and paperwork up to date
- Reporting any issues to the charity’s management team
What we're looking for
- A good working knowledge of vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Someone who is reliable, organised, and takes pride in their work
- Ability to complete simple paperwork clearly and accurately
- A friendly and helpful attitude – you’ll be part of a supportive team
