Choose A Virtual Gift
£10 – A Pressure
Bandage
£10 can provide us with a Pressure Bandage to stop an open wound from bleeding, giving us vital time to give a patient the best quality of care. Pressure bandages are one of the most common pieces of equipment we use when we attend an incident.
£25 – Pack of Anaesthetic Drugs
£25 can provide us with the drugs we take on all of our call-outs to provide patients with much-needed pain relief. Anaesthetic is used if a patient is in serious pain, our our critical care team need to carry out a critical intervention.
£35 – Central Line Blood Infusion Kit
The introduction of the blood onboard service has allowed GNAAS to carry out roadside blood and plasma transfusions on patients at the scene of a life or limb-threatening injury.
£50 – Set of defibrillation pads
Cardiac arrest is one of the most common incidents that we attend as a charity. Cardiac arrest is the sudden cessation of the heart’s function. This £50 can help us purchase defibrillation pads to deliver the shock to the cardiac arrest patient during an emergency.
£100 – A Ventilation Tube
When we attend an incident, it is vital that we can keep a patient’s airways open and operational. The ventilation tubes we use allow us to keep the airway open and crucially, stabilise a critically ill patient in their time of need. This is an essential component of our equipment bag.

Everything our critical care teams do is only possible through the support of the public. We are entirely charity-funded, and it costs £8.5 million every year to respond to the thousands of call-outs we attend.
