Choose your distance, choose your method and get moving this May!
Whether you don your walking boots, trainers or cycling shoes, cover the distance that our critical care team fly when returning to base from the North’s Major Trauma Centre, the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) in Newcastle.
You can take on this challenge either on your own, or you can complete it as a team with your friends, family, classmates, or colleagues, and raise as much money as possible for your local air ambulance so we can continue our life-saving work!

By taking on this challenge, you’re ensuring we can continue to cover the distance and save lives across the region.
You can complete it any time you like between 1 – 31 May 2023. Entry is £10, which covers the cost of your GNAAS cap, which you should wear with pride throughout the challenge!

We ask everyone taking part to aim to raise at least £50.

Last year, our critical care team responded to over 4,478 call-outs. Your fundraising will help keep our team flying and responding to the most critically ill and injured people throughout the North. Lives will be saved, and families kept together.
