Ready for a spooky challenge?
Fancy taking on the Cleveland 4 Peaks with a haunted twist?
Join us this Halloween for Trick or Trek, a special after-dark edition of our Cleveland 4 Peaks challenge. Taking inspiration from our popular Cleveland 4 Peaks After Dark event, this time weโre adding a little Halloween magic to the mix.
As darkness falls, youโll take on the Cleveland Hills by torchlight, tackling Roseberry Topping, Captain Cook’s Monument, Highcliff Nab and Codhill Heights. But this time, the hills will be alive with the eerie feeling of a cold Halloween night.
What you can expect

You’re finally finished
All while raising crucial funds for GNAAS
Why take on Trick or Trek?
This Halloween, you can join us and turn a night of spooky fun into something truly lifesaving.
Trick or Trek is more than a challenge; itโs your chance to help keep us flying. Every step you take and every pound you raise helps fund the specialist equipment, highly trained crew and lifesaving missions that bring critical care to people across the North when they need it most.
Whether youโre tackling the challenge with friends, family, colleagues or flying solo, youโll be taking on something memorable while making a real difference. Youโll get outdoors, challenge yourself, embrace the Halloween spirit and, most importantly, know that your efforts are helping our crew reach patients in their darkest moments.

Dogs are not allowed on this walk due to it being through the night.
What should I wear?
Heading into the hills after dark means being prepared is important. We want you to have a great night, so make sure you've got everything you need before setting off.
A head torch is essential for this challenge and must be worn throughout the walk.
It's also worth dressing for the conditions. Bring plenty of layers, as it could feel chilly when you arrive, but you'll soon warm up once you get moving. A hat and gloves will help keep the cold out, while a waterproof coat will keep you protected if the weather takes a turn.
And don't forget your walking shoes. You'll want something comfortable and suitable for taking on the hills.
Please view our Kit List for further information.
Will GNAAS provide headtorches?
