Join thousands of people across the nation for one of the biggest fundraising events of the year.

Cycle 100km, swim 100 lengths, kick a ball 100 times or walk 100 lengths of your garden like the great Captain Sir Thomas Moore. However you make your 100, you'll help raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

What is the Captain Tom 100?

Taking place over the weekend of what would have been the late Captain Sir Thomas Moore’s 101st birthday, the Captain Tom 100 is an inclusive event to unite the nation.

On 6 April 2020, Captain Tom Moore set out round his garden to raise funds. One hundred laps later, he’d raised an incredible £38.9 million for the NHS Covid-19 appeal. Now it’s your turn.

This bank holiday weekend (30 April – 3 May 2021), cycle 100km, swim 100 lengths, kick a ball 100 times or walk 100 lengths of your garden like the great Captain Tom – however you choose to tackle your 100, you’ll help raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

Remember to follow the Government guidelines on how to exercise safely during this time.

Whatever you do, you can be part of it – the main thing is getting active, having fun and fundraising or donating whatever you can.
