A 20-year-old from Peterlee suffered life-threatening head injuries during a Motocross event at Middlesbrough yesterday, Sunday, October 7th.
The rider was injured when he came off on a jump.
He was assisted by road crews as well as the GNAAS team.
The GNAAS doctor anaesthetised the man on scene before he was flown to James Cook University Hospital in a critical condition.
