The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to a collision between a motorcyclist and a car at Middleton-in-Teesdale at 2:05pm yesterday. The doctor-led trauma team assessed and treated a 58-year-old motorcyclist who was found to have suffered only minor injuries. He was then transferred to Darlington Memorial Hospital by land ambulance. .
