Man in hospital after Husky sled fall in Haverigg


A MAN was airlifted to hospital after falling from a husky sled at Haverigg, Cumbria. The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 2pm on July 24. The 47-year-old man, from Darlington, sustained facial, arm and leg injuries and was treated at the scene by the GNAAS crew before being flown to Furness General Hospital in Barrow. The flight took twelve minutes and he arrived in a stable condition..
