Man airlifted to hospital after crash at Eyemouth


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist Scottish Ambulance Service with a man who had been seriously injured in a motorcycle collision at Eyemouth near Berwick-upon-Tweed yesterday. The paramedic and doctor crew administered advanced treatment at the scene before the patient, a man in his 30s, was flown to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for ongoing treatment. The flight to hospital took 13 minutes; by road this would have taken around 57 minutes. .
