Man airlifted after heart attack in Lake District


A MAN was airlifted to hospital after suffering a heart attack in the Lake District yesterday. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Winderemere at around 3:15pm. The 59-year-old man, from Hull, was treated by GNAAS and North West Ambulance Service before he was flown to hospital in Blackpool within 10 minutes.
