Incidents attended on September 23


Here are some of the incidents we attended on Saturday:


At 10.20am we were to called Shildon to assist the North East Ambulance Service with a male, believed to be in his 40s, who had fallen down a full flight of stairs. He was stabilised on scene by the GNAAS paramedic and doctor team before being flown to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. The flight took nine minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.

At 1.40pm we were called to Coundon, to assist the North East Ambulance Service with a male teenager who had sustained a leg injury from a motorbike accident. He was assessed by the GNAAS paramedic and doctor team before being transported by a NEAS road crew to the University Hospital of North Durham.
