Husqvarna is a global leader in outdoor power products, providing innovative and sustainable solutions for forestry, lawn and garden, and construction professionals.

At their Newton Aycliffe site in the heart of the North East, they manufacture the Automower product, a state of the art robotic lawn mower, that makes outdoor work more efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly.

Their business is guided by their values of being bold, dedicated, and showing care in both their approach to work and their responsibility to the communities around them, which led them to getting involved with our charity.

As a Corporate Partner, Husqvarna has supported GNAAS through a variety of initiatives that combine fundraising, employee engagement, and practical assistance.

Over the last two years, they’ve invited GNAAS to be part of Ayclive Festival, where Husqvarna were proud sponsors, to help raise awareness, generate donations and engage the local community.

They also kindly donated two Automowers to cut the airside grass, saving the charity around £400 per month in cutting charges. The team went one step further, even wrapping one of the mowers to match our fleet decals, and we’ve found both staff and visitors are very fond of our robotic friends.

In addition to this, Husqvarna have donated raffle prizes, sold merchandise, held internal fundraising events and collected clothes.
