Cleveland Containers help with Trading Company move

We’re grateful to have the support of Cleveland Containers who helped make our Trading Company’s move to our HQ so much easier.

For several years our Trading Company, which recycles clothing, books and other items, has been based at Newton Aycliffe.

With the lease agreement recently coming to an end, the clothing recycling team have now relocated to our headquarters near Eaglescliffe, which houses our charity services colleagues and operations team.

To assist with the move, we worked with several companies, including Cleveland Containers, who supplied two 20ft shipping containers to store any overflows of clothing donations.

The units were delivered in December ready to support the phased move and to ensure that  our clothing recycling team would be fully operational in their new home by January.

Julie Jameson, facilities manager at GNAAS said: “We chose to use Cleveland Containers because it’s a local business and we want to support companies in the North East and Cumbria. The service we’ve received from them has been brilliant, from initial enquiry to delivery and aftercare. We were informed in the morning of the time the containers would be delivered, which was extremely helpful as we needed to make sure the helicopter was moved out of the way. A great experience from start to finish.”

In addition to working with Cleveland Containers, who kindly gave us a discount on the containers, we received assistance from JMI, Applebridge, Hawthorns Logistics, KT Transport, Premier Road Markings and 3C Services who all helped to make the relocation run as smoothly as possible.

The new address for GNAAS’ Trading Company is Progress House, Urlay Nook Road, Eaglescliffe, TS16 0QB. Donations can be dropped off on site, or to arrange a collection of pre-loved clothing from your home call 01325 308 139.
