Walk the Wall

Our Walk The Wall challenge is back for a third year, so you can start 2024 off on the right foot!

Join us this January in virtually walking the length of the Hadrian’s Wall Path in aid of our life-saving service, and keep our helicopters flying in the New Year.

84 miles in one month – anywhere, any time. Every step you take and every mile you walk helps us continue to save lives. Are you ready to take on the challenge?

Once you have signed up, you will receive instructions to set up a JustGiving page. JustGiving is a reliable platform that allows you to showcase your fundraising efforts with your family, friends and the wider GNAAS family! By raising funds through JustGiving, you will help us fuel our helicopters in the New Year.

On average, every mission costs us £4,286. We respond to 5 call-outs a day.

2024 is set to be another busy year for our service, but by fundraising for us this January, you will help us save lives across the region throughout the year.

The event holds a special poignancy this year, following the felling of the infamous Sycamore Gap Tree, which sat along the route of the UNESCO World Heritage site.

That’s why when you Walk The Wall with us in January, you will receive a special, Limited Edition patch after raising £10 towards our cause.

Proudly showcasing the iconic Sycamore Gap tree, this patch serves as a reminder of the beauty in the region that we work so hard to serve.
