Air ambulance called to woman’s aid in Maryport


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a woman in her 60s who was suffering from a serious medical problem in Maryport yesterday. A road crew from North West Ambulance Service requested the help of GNAAS at 10.30am. The patient was assessed by the doctor-led team before being flown to hospital in Carlisle for further treatment.

The patient was assessed by the doctor-led team before being flown to hospital in Carlisle for further treatment. The flight took 11 minutes and she arrived in a stable condition.
