The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to a man who was trapped under a car at Howden-le-Wear, Crook, yesterday (June 15). The man, believed to be in his fifties, was working on the car when it collapsed on top of him.

The man, believed to be in his fifties, was working on the car when it collapsed on top of him. He was assessed and treated by the GNAAS crew before being discharged. He had suffered minor injuries.
