Salary: £21,486 – £26,251 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, to be worked flexibly in line with the needs of the business, including occasional evenings and weekends

About us, the role and you

Our social media is our shop front.

But this isn’t any ordinary shop.

We respond to around 1,500 emergency call-outs every year.

We fly at 200mph to rescue the most severely ill and injured patients across the North. We have helicopters, cars and one day soon we may have jet suits.

Everything we do is enabled through public donations.

This is a social media job with a difference. It’s one that makes a difference.

Harnessing the immense power of Youtube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, you’ll showcase the very best of what we do, and the very best of the thousands of supporters who make it all possible.

You’ll know the intricacies of each platform – what works, what doesn’t, how to format and schedule.

You’ll have a natural ability to create content that inspires action. Powerful, accurate and concise content that is tailored to the unique demands of each channel.

You’ll want everyone to be talking about the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

You’ll want to make a difference.

The perfect candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant subject, have prior experience in a similar role and hold a current clean driving licence.
