Taking it's name from the GNAAS helicopter model, the 90-mile GYRO route is enough to challenge even experienced riders.

Starting out as part of the main route, the split takes you to thigh-testing climbs, but the rewards are quiet, rolling roads through epic scenery. You can decide on the day whether you're up to the challenge.

GYRO 90 Route

The GYRO 90 follows the same route as the GYRO 60, heading out from our HQ in Eaglescliffe, through Croft and Middleton Tyas towards the historic town of Richmond.

Both rides head along quiet roads through Marske where here, you can decide to either continue on the GYRO 60 towards Bedale or ride on, into the Yorkshire dales towards the picturesque town of Hawes, taking on the GYRO 90. Be warned – it’s not for the faint-hearted!ย  The climb awaits you, from Gunnerside towards Hawes. This route circles round taking you back down through Aysgarth and West Witton before the routes will merge heading into Bedale.

Taking on the final stretch you’ll make your way heads towards towards Northallerton, through Leeming bar before heading North through beautiful villages towards North Cowton. With only a few ‘updulations’ remaining riders will soon be able to see Darlington in the distance as they head for home and a hero’s welcome on quiet scenic roads.

GPX files will also be available.
