Can you take on the Race to the Base?
This March, you can either run, walk or cycle the distance our critical care team fly when returning to the base from the RVI in Newcastle, the North's main major trauma centre. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or looking for your first fitness challenge, there is an option for everyone.

With 32, 46 or 130-miles to choose from, select your distance and start raising vital funds for our life-saving service.
Each distance is captained by a member of our critical care team. They are taking on the virtual challenge themselves and will be there to support you along the way. Watch out for their regular tips and useful information to help you achieve your goals. Are you ready?
Fundraise while you Race
By taking on this challenge, you’re ensuring we can continue to cover the distance and save lives across the region.
You can complete it any time you like between 1 – 31 March 2021. Entry is £10 including a medal and a certificate to say thank you for your achievement.
If you go the extra mile and raise over £50 in sponsorship money, we’ll also send you our brand new GNAAS sports bottle. You can fundraise using JustGiving and share your challenge on social media!

A virtual fundraising event taking place in aid of GNAAS from 1st – 31st March. Choose to cover 32, 46 or 130 miles throughout the month and raise sponsorship to help our critical care team to continue saving lives.

You’ll then receive your e-fundraising pack with all you need to help you along the way and make the most of your fundraising. When you sign up you will receive an e-fundraising pack telling you how to get involved.

We ask everyone taking part to aim to raise at least £50. Don’t forget, if you raise more than £50 you’ll receive a GNAAS water bottle!
