Why your support is important

At the 2018 ball our very special guest, Stephanie Wilkinson, talked about her experience of being treated and transported to hospital by the air ambulance crew. Stephanie, 21, was involved in a serious collision when she was travelling with her boyfriend to the Metrocentre in Gateshead to book a holiday. Her story featured on the More4 documentary Emergency Helicopter Medics.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service carries out over 1000 missions like the one that saved Stephanie every year.
