Working with volunteers

I’ve been in post for three months and have already been fortunate enough to start meeting some of our passionate and loyal volunteers from across the region. A key priority for me is to strengthen and improve how we involve and communicate with our volunteers and so they will be hearing a lot more from me very soon.

I’ve been in post for three months and have already been fortunate enough to start meeting some of our passionate and loyal volunteers from across the region.

A key priority for me is to strengthen and improve how we involve and communicate with our volunteers and so they will be hearing a lot more from me very soon. Other priorities include looking at how we can report on the activity that our volunteers do, which will help us to recognise and celebrate the vital support that volunteers offer.

I’ll go into more detail on this and more in posts to come. Please keep checking back for more.

If you’re a volunteer and you are yet to hear from me, you soon will. In the meantime please check your emails in case anything has gone into your junk mail folder, you should have a welcome email and an invitation to complete a satisfaction survey.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please feel free email me at volunteer@greatnorthairambulance.co.uk
