Woman taken to hospital after A69 Corbridge crash


A woman in her 30s was treated for head and arm injuries following a two-vehicle collision on the A69 near Corbridge yesterday. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the incident at around 3.35pm which reportedly involved a HGV and a 4×4. The female patient was described as being in a stable condition and due to the nature of her injuries was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle by North East Ambulance Service accompanied by the aircrew trauma team..
