Woman suffers severe burns at Halloween event


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Muncaster Castle, near Ravenglass, after a woman suffered severe burns at a Halloween event on Sunday. The GNAAS trauma team assessed and treated the woman for her injuries, which are thought to have been caused after a gas cansiter exploded. The woman, in her 30s, was flown to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary where she arrived in a stable condition..
