Woman airlifted after three-vehicle collision


A woman was airlifted to hospital after a three-vehicle road traffic collision near Barnard Castle, County Durham, at 7:50am yesterday morning (May 13). A 55-year-old woman was cut free from one vehicle and treated by GNAAS for serious head, neck and arm injuries. The woman was then transported to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.

A 55-year-old woman was cut free from one vehicle and treated by GNAAS for serious head, neck and arm injuries.

The woman was then transported to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough. The flight took 11 minutes and she arrived in a stable condition.
