The countdown is on for The Candyland Ball with just 30 days to go and only one table left until the Great North Air Ambulance Service’s (GNAAS) fundraising extravaganza. Nearly 200 tickets have already been sold for the bash, which is raising money for the charity’s Pride of Cumbria aircraft, based at Langwathby near Penrith. The magical evening that awaits is the perfect opportunity to host a Christmas party with colleagues, or kick back with friends and family to start the festive season in style. Guests can indulge in a three-course dinner and bask in live entertainment, with the glitzy event taking place on November 30th, at the Rheged Centre, in Penrith. Stacy Hucker, of GNAAS, said the ball was going to be a real spectacle set to delight ball guests.

Stacy Hucker, of GNAAS, said the ball was going to be a real spectacle set to delight ball guests. She added: “We are looking forward to welcoming supporters of the Pride of Cumbria to this super glam event, but our golden tickets are nearly almost gone.”

There will be a chance to bid for some magnificent items – perfect for an extra special Christmas present. A selection of auction lots will be on sale including a signed Carlisle United football shirt and a brand new mountain bike, as well as a luxury raffle, with prizes such as spa days and grand hampers.
