A walker was airlifted to hospital after falling 50ft in the Lake District on March 11.
The 23-year-old woman suffered head injuries after the accident at Glenridding Dodd.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team, North West Ambulance Service and police were all called out to help the casualty.
A spokesman for the Great North Air Ambulance Service said: “The terrain was such that a helicopter was needed to help evacuate the patient and then she was flown to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.”
Her condition was described as stable when she arrived at hospital. The flight took just 12 minutes.
