Teenager put into induced coma after collision with car at Redcar


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Redcar at 17.38pm on Saturday after a collision between a cyclist and a car. The 15-year-old boy riding the bike suffered a serious head injury and was placed into a medically induced coma by the GNAAS team.

The 15-year-old boy riding the bike suffered a serious head injury and was placed into a medically induced coma by the GNAAS team. He was then taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough by NEAS where he arrived in a critical condition.
