RESCUERS were called to the aid of an injured walker near Eston Nab yesterday.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service, Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team and the North East Ambulance Service were called to a wooded area near Eston Nab, Redcar and Cleveland, at around 5:15pm on August 29.
A 26-year-old man had taken a fall while out walking and suffered serious, but not life-threatening, back and chest injuries.
The rescue took around two and a half hours due to difficult access at the location.
The patient was taken to hospital by road.
