The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to the aid of a pedestrian who had been hit by a car at Keswick yesterday (June 16).
GNAAS was called to the scene at 11:45pm and on arrival, the aircrew assessed and treated a woman, from China, for head and arm injuries.
The patient was flown to the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, in 10 minutes. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
