Mountain biker airlifted after fall in Richmond


A MOUNTAIN biker was airlifted to hospital after a fall from her bike on Saturday (August 6). The 31-year-old woman suffered neck injuries. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the Richmond area at 4:40pm to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service. After treatment by the GNAAS doctor-led aircrew, the woman was flown to James Cook Univeristy Hospital, in Middlesbrough, within 13 minutes where she arrived in a stable condition. .
