A motorcyclist has been flown to hospital after a collision with a car at Ashington in Northumberland.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 10:30am on August 13.
The motorcyclist, a local man aged 47, had sustained a spinal injury as well as a serious leg injury.
He was treated on scene before being flown to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. The flight took eight minutes and the patient was stable upon arrival at hospital.
