Head-on collision at Kirkby Stephen leaves cyclist hospitalised


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Kirkby Stephen at 11.55am on Sunday, after a head-on collision involving a car and cyclist. The cyclist, a woman in her 40s, was assessed and treated for head and facial injuries by the GNAAS trauma team, before being flown to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle within 12 minutes.
