Girl, 13, injured during PE lesson in Stockton


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist the North East Ambulance Service in Stockton-on-Tees at around 10.57am yesterday, where a 13-year-old girl had suffered a serious leg injury during a P.E lesson at school. The charity’s Teesside aircraft attended the scene, where a GNAAS doctor was required to administer strong pain relief before the patient was transferred to the University Hospital of North Tees by road, accompanied by the GNAAS crew, where she arrived in a stable condition..
