Our 20th Birthday Ball is nearly here!
Join us for a roaring night on Saturday 15 October at The Hilton Newcastle Gateshead for a spectacular evening to celebrate the fantastic support we’ve received as a charity in the past two decades.
You can expect an incredible three-course meal fit for Thomas Shelby himself, with plenty of fizz and a night full of dancing and laughter.

Opening – Rock Choir Performance
The night will begin with a live performance from the North East Rock Choir.
As you arrive in the courtyard, the 50-strong ensemble will greet you with their renowned music, ready to start your night off right!
Step inside…
Add extra sparkle to your outfit by having your face painted with glitter and gems by Glitter Whipped, and make sure to take some selfies to remember the night with Magic Mirror North East.
Our photographer will be poised and ready to snap your best red carpet pose before you start dancing the night away. And of course, you can’t start an evening of celebrations without a glass of fizz.
Our amazing host
We couldn’t get Gatsby himself to come to our ball, but renowned presenter and broadcaster Tim Lichfield will be the host for the evening and guide you through this special occasion. You can look forward to incredible stories from our CEO David Stockton and some incredible supporters our charity has directly impacted.
Fundraising
Our 20th birthday ball is a celebration of our 20 years of service, but it’s also an opportunity to raise vital funds to ensure we’re here for the next 20! Get ready for games, competitions, our big raffle and a live auction filled with money-can’t-buy items and experiences!
Hosting the auction will be the incredible TV auctioneer Charles Hanson, known for being on Bargain Hunt, Flog It! and Antiques Road Trip.
We don’t go half-hearted here!
Hip Operation
Get your hips swaying for Hip Operation – don’t worry, our doctors won’t be performing live surgery – we’re talking about the band!
They promise the ultimate live party experience, with a full brass section covering chart hits old and new, bringing an infectious energy every time they perform.
Party till late
The party doesn’t stop when the live band does – our resident DJ will keep the dancefloor bouncing until the early hours, and in case you need a midnight snack, our pizza party will get you refuelled!
