Cyclists complete Blackpool to Paris ride for GNAAS


A group from G&S Fitness in Wigton, Cumbria, has completed the gruelling Tower 2 Tower Bike Challenge.


The team completed the 500 mile challenge on June 16th in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance Service’s Pride of Cumbria aircraft. The helicopter is based at Langwathby, near Penrith and flies hundreds of missions a year in the county.

The bike challenge started at Blackpool Tower before heading through Crewe, Redditch, Swindon, Portsmouth, Le Harve and Louviers, before finishing at The Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The cycling team are holding a charity night at the White Heather Hotel in Wigton on September 7th.

All of the team’s sponsors will be present including Lattimer Homes, D.A Harrison’s, Travis Perkins and G&S Fitness.
