Cyclist injured after crash in Jarrow


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist North East Ambulance Service with a cyclist who had been in a collision with a car in Jarrow, near the Tyne Tunnel, at around 8.30am. The GNAAS doctor and paramedic team assessed and treated the man for serious injuries before he was taken by road to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary for ongoing treatment..
