Cumbria man suffering from hypothermia taken to hospital via air ambulance


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team at Crosby, near Maryport, at around 3.40pm on Sunday. A man, in his 70s, was suffering from hypothermia and was treated by the GNAAS doctor-led team before being flown to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary within 30 minutes where he arrived in a stable condition..
