A climber fell around 12ft at Black Crag, Wrynose, on Sunday (July 05). The 29-year-old man suffered arm and facial injuries and was treated and evacuated from the scene. The Great North Air Ambulance Service crew worked alongside Langdale/Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team. The patient was airlifted to the bottom of the crag and transferred to a waiting ambulance where he was taken to hospital for treatment. .
