The Great North Air Ambulance Service has 10 spaces each available for the Tees Pride 10k and Middlesbrough 5k if anyone is keen to tie up their laces and run for a good cause.
There is no minimum fundraising threshold but if you could raise a few quid for GNAAS we would really appreciate it.
You will get the chance to run alongside, Callum Rock, whose story we shared earlier this month and can be read here: Callum’s story. Mr Rock survived a near-death experience and will be running in both races to support the life-saving charity.
Runners will receive a t-shirt or running top once they have signed up and the charity can provide sponsor forms. We ask fundraisers to use GNAAS online giving site: www.creatanddonate.co.uk to raise funds online. This way, we don’t have to pay any hidden fees – meaning we get more from every donation!
The 5k Riverside Run will take place on Sunday June 1st 2014, starting and finishing at Middlesbrough FC’s Riverside Stadium.
Returning for the 10th Year, Tees Pride 10k will take place on Sunday August 31st 2014.
Upon completion of the race, runners will be handed a goody bag, along with a medal and GNAAS will be on hand on the day with a stall at the event.
