Boy, 14, treated by air medics after County Durham crash


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist the North East Ambulance Service after a road traffic collision involving a motorbike and a car. Air medics were tasked to the scene in Ushaw Moor, County Durham, at 5.30pm yesterday. A 14-year-old pillion was assessed and treated for pelvis and arm injuries by the GNAAS doctor-led trauma team before being taken to hospital by road.
