Airport neighbours lend a hand

One of GNAAS’ neighbours at Durham Tees Valley Airport has donated £579 to the charity.

Cobham Aviation Services has held a series of cake sales, raffles, tuck shops and dress-down days to raise money for GNAAS over the years.

Heather Yarrow, of Cobham, made the short trip to GNAAS’ base to present the latest cheque to the charity’s crew.

She said: “We started helping the charity a few years ago. The guys from GNAAS have helped out our employees a few times over the years and we just wanted to put something back. We just like to get behind a good local charity.”
