Boy, 9, seriously injured after collision with car at Wynyard


A NINE-year-old boy suffered multiple life-threatening injuries after a collision with a car. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the incident at Wynyard, near Stockton, at 7.05pm yesterday (August 22).    The pedestrian was put into a medically induced coma by the GNAAS doctor-led aircrew before he was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, within 5 minutes, where he arrived in a critical condition..
