Air ambulance called to help child


The Great North Air Ambulance Service were called to help an injured child who had fallen through the banister of a stairwell today (Mon 26). The Pride of Cumbria flew from its base at Langwathby to the incident near Langley Castle in Northumberland. The aircrew doctor and paramedic assessed and treated the three-year-old before flying both the mother and child to hospital in Newcastle.
