About the role

From your desk, you’ll hear the rush of the helicopter engines as they fire up in preparation for the next mission – one of around 2,100 the Great North Air Ambulance Service launches every year. Your role will be integral in ensuring the team can respond again the next time the emergency bell rings.

You will support the events lead on the management and delivery of our year-round events program. You will also assist with communications to event participants, guests, enquirers, suppliers, and volunteers.

You will manage events equipment, gifts-in-kind processes, and match funding requirements, as well as support delivery of excellent supporter care and experience. You will also support event preparation, as well as liaise with internal team members, external suppliers, and volunteers to aid the smooth delivery of events.

About you

You’ll be adaptable in your approach, naturally creative, and highly organised.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and hold a current clean driving license. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being self-motivated and having the ability to work as part of a team.
