The connection between Agnese France Physical Health (AFPH) and the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) couldn’t be any closer – literally.
Just down the road from our HQ in Eaglescliffe are our neighbours AFPH based in Mandale Park, who offer high standard injury assessment, consultation, and treatment services.
They serve the communities of Eaglescliffe, Yarm, and Teesside, with the goal of helping people achieve optimal musculoskeletal health and wellness through comprehensive and personalised care.
Through a chance meeting with one of our CSR and Philanthropy Specialists Ben Sisson, the owner of the company, Agnese France, decided to support GNAAS in every way she could, and was awarded Corporate Partner status earlier this year.

She said: “Being a neighbour to GNAAS, I hear how frequently their aircraft is flying out for a rescue. Visiting the facilities on a weekly basis, nearly every visit the alarm bells for a call out would fill the facilities. The amount of work GNAAS puts in to help people in need and save lives on a daily basis is truly remarkable. Covering the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria, and the Isle of Man, including remote and hard-to-reach areas like the Lake District or south of Scotland, this service never takes a day off. I admire the hard work and dedication that the GNAAS family is putting in to not only help save lives but also afford this help to materialise to reality.”
Initially Agnese kindly donated 20 pre-loaded gift cards with discounts for a consultation and treatments, each with a value of £262.50, and all staff and volunteers of GNAAS get 30% discount for any services and treatments.

She said: “My support has been evolving and developing into a wonderful partnership and I am grateful for the continuous opportunity to do so.
“A big contribution of my support is aimed at the health and wellbeing of staff at GNAAS that work so hard to look after those in need.”
Agnese has provided full injury consultations and treatment days for staff at GNAAS, as well as holding regular stretch and exercise classes and 1-1’s in our office gym.
Her business has also paid for advertising space in our 2026 diary, and Agnese is a regular customer at our coffee house Hangar 63.

She said: “I absolutely love that GNAAS has opened their coffee house to the public, it is such a wonderful way to bring awareness not only to the facilities but also everything that GNAAS stands for. Staff are always so warm and welcoming, you are met with smiles and genuine care.”
As one of our closest neighbours, Agnese is very aware of the importance of our service, and is encouraging other businesses to support our charity.
She said: “By supporting GNAAS, a business is directly contributing to a service that saves the lives of employees, customers, suppliers, and the wider community. This is one of the most visible and impactful forms of local charity support. GNAAS is a charity and receives no government funding, every donation directly translates to operational capability such as fuel for the helicopters and specialist medical equipment. Every company’s contribution is truly vital and makes a measurable difference.”
