HMH Civils raise more than £30,000 for GNAAS

Our fantastic Corporate Partner HMH Civils has raised more than £30,000 in the last year to support our life-saving service.

Civil Engineering specialists, HMH Civils, has held a series of fundraising events during the past 12 months, including a recent charity golf day at Ramside Hall, which proved to be a huge success, generating more than £12,000 for the charity in a single event.

To be recognised as a corporate partner of GNAAS, businesses must raise at least £5,000. HMH Civils has far exceeded that threshold, and have their logo displayed on our aircraft in recognition of their support.

GNAAS responds to more than 2,000 call-outs every year across the North East, Cumbria, North Yorkshire, and the Isle of Man, with operations costing £9.3 million annually. Our service receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations from individuals and businesses like HMH Civils.

Ben Sisson, CSR and Philanthropy specialist at GNAAS said: “There’s many ways for companies to raise money and become a corporate partner, from attending balls, to golf days, to payroll schemes and taking part in our challenge events.

“The relationship GNAAS has with HMH Civils is very special and it’s great to have support from an organisation which is very passionate about the work we do.”

Gerard May, group CEO at HMH Civils said: “Over the past 12 months, we’ve raised more than £30,000 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service, and we’re incredibly proud to support such an essential service in our region.

“The charity does a fantastic job saving lives across the North East and North West, and you never know when you or someone you love might need their help. That’s why we’re committed to continuing our support for years to come.”
