We are updating and reviewing all HR Policies and will keep colleagues updated.

Health & Wellbeing Update

Over the past month, we’ve been busy rolling out some brilliant initiatives to support everyone’s health and wellbeing.

Here’s a quick round-up of what’s been happening:

· Gym inductions & sports massages – thanks to Agnese France, staff have had the chance to get to grips with the gym and enjoy some well-earned relaxation with sports massages.

· Weekly stretch sessions – Agnese has also been running our weekly stretch classes, which have had fantastic feedback. A great way to reset body and mind!

· Take-home exercise plans – for anyone looking to keep up the good work at home, Agnese has provided tailored exercise programmes to support your goals.

Training Updates

We’ve made some exciting progress in staff training and development recently:

· TRiM Training – our very first Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) training session has now taken place, equipping staff with valuable tools to support colleagues who may be affected by potentially traumatic events.

· Neurodiversity Awareness Training – we’ve launched training for all staff to help build understanding, awareness, and inclusivity around neurodiversity in the workplace.

· Domestic Abuse Champion training – we’ve arranged training for an allocated Domestic Abuse Champion in the workplace to help staff feel confident in recognising and supporting those affected by domestic abuse.

· Dementia Friends training – coming up in November, in partnership with Newcastle Building Society

We’ll be offering Dementia Friends training for all staff soon. This is a great opportunity to build awareness and help us create an even more supportive workplace. We’d love to see as many of you as possible get involved!

New Appraisal & Development Process

As part of our continued focus on growth and development, we’ll soon be rolling out a refreshed approach to appraisals and development reviews. There will be a soft launch

during the remainder of the financial year, with formal implementation from 1 April 2026.

Look out for the training sessions on the new process coming soon:

· Manager Training – sessions will be delivered to ensure managers feel confident in leading effective, supportive, and constructive reviews.

· Staff Training – all staff will be offered guidance and tools to get the most out of their appraisal conversations, with a focus on personal development and progression.
